This savoury mango sauce is perfect to accompany barbecues and grilled dishes.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup chopped fresh mango

  • ½ cup cream

  • ¼ cup dry white wine

  • 1 tablespoon chopped hazelnuts

  • 2 teaspoons French mustard

  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives

Directions

  • Blend or process mango until smooth. Combine mango puree, cream, wine, nuts, pepper and mustard in pan, stir over heat until heated through. Stir in chives.
  • Serves 4 – Makes about 1 cup
