Tzatziki Sauce

This classic Greek tzatziki sauce is a refreshing accompaniment to barbecued kebabs, koftas, wraps and vegetarian meals. Super quick to prepare, and requiring no cooking, it is perfect for those wanting an easy sauce.

The origin of Tzatziki

Originating in southeast Europe and the Middle East, there are many versions of this yoghurt sauce. Probably created to use up extras when making yoghurt, it is a versatile product.

Used on its own as a dish in a Mezze, or on gyros and felafel, the salty, herby, lemony mix is perfection.

What to serve with tzatziki

It’s a favourite of barbecue dinners and an accompaniment for grilled meat. It is particularly refreshing when served with spicy food, such as our prego chicken steaks or beef steaks.

It’s a match made in heaven with lamb kofta or lamb neck fillet kebabs!
